Our Story - How KittyKannabis Came To Be

KittyKannabis was born from a story of struggle, resilience, and the unshakable bond between a person and their cats. For over a decade, I battled addiction and experienced homelessness. Life felt uncertain, chaotic, and sometimes hopeless—but through it all, there was one constant: my cats. They were my companions, my comfort, and my reminder that there was still love and joy to hold onto, even in the darkest times.

At a certain point, I made a conscious decision to change my life—to reclaim it, piece by piece. I wanted to do it fully, with purpose and intention, and I knew I couldn’t do it without my cats by my side. They had been with me through the lows, and I wanted to honor that bond by creating something that would bring joy not just to my life, but to the lives of other cats and their humans.

That desire became KittyKannabis: a brand rooted in love, care, and giving back. Our catnip is organic, pesticide-free, and crafted with attention to quality and safety. But our mission goes beyond playtime—5% of every sale supports animal rescue and organizations focused on addiction and mental health awareness. Every bag of catnip we sell is a reminder that even in the hardest times, hope, healing, and happiness are possible.
